Yo just thought I'd share a few thoughts with fellow team mates as I've been angry bout my minor but significant injuries.
WRISTS and ANKLES!!!! We increase are strength n are moves get bigger and all this explosive power goes through your either ur hands or feet (if yor unlucky ur head ;D) So I personally am gona start strengthening them, to prevent futher injury!!! Some of you may already do this but I definately recommend it as a good daily habit to get into if you seriously wana do this for the foreseeable future.
On slightly different note stretching daily, drinking plenty of water n eating healthy are things to bare in mind!
Let me know what you guys think and maybe you guys do something that you feel improves your performance??

I totally agree with kez! we should all be doing something to keep our selfs fit and reduce the chances of getting injury's, I do a fair bit of conditioning already so that when i get back to tricking i can catch up nice and quickly! but what seriously lets me down is my eating and drinking habits, Ive been pigging out on a so much rubbish recently and i need to cut down or everything i achieved in my conditioning would be a waist! ill just end up looking like a whale ;D plus things like salt stiffen up your joints and things, so not good! well thats what I'm going to be working on most, what about the rest of u? Diet, flexibility wrist and ankle strength or just a bit of everything? PS. this is something we could probably talk abit about at the meeting on the 4th

hmm, i think we should all get body builders!!!!! nah just kiddin, but we should come up with some kind of diet plan or conditioning plan or similar, i know i need to because all i am eating at the mo is chocolate, sandwhiches, and fry ups

conditioning like everything else is alot more fun when your doing it with other people and not just on your own, so maby we should do abit when we meet in town and things, like a propper warm up with flexability training, and things like pull ups and ankle/wrist strengthing exercises it all counts!

Yeah def gd points to bring up K. I've been tryin my best to do upper body work when i can, same for calf raises and ankle conditioning in general. One of my worries is that since I'm not doing basketball at the moment, I'm not getting anywhere even close to the amount of stamina training and aerobic exercise I'd normally be getting. I can't remember the last time I started to sweat or got out of breath doin pk or tricks coz it seems likes it's nearly always, do one move.....do another move..etc. Although some moves are quite demanding the way we do things (most of the time) doesn't require much stamina at all. If not just for general health's sake I think we should start. I know Jonny already does for circamedia and stuff so maybe we could do the same thing as him and I've got drills from basketball we could use etc. Diet is something I'm really willing to change for this. I'm ready to give up the shit food and fizzy drinks (again) if every1 else is. I know it'll be hard 4 sum (ehem Adam) to say goodbye to KFC LOL! But guys we jus gotta pull together (cry) and find the (sob) strength to...(tears) GET THROUGH THIS (cry ya eyes out!) HAHAHA! So yeh if it's a team effort I think it'll b easier but if ya aint gona do it don't say ya r and then don't. If we as a team wana take this 2 a high level it has 2 b every1 with the commitment, not just some. Ssafe Jayjee

wicked great to hear you guys are into this idea too! Soo bring ideas to the meeting and we'll all decide what we are and aren't willing to do together as a team ie diet, extra training, warm up etc Safe, reli excitin stuff i think! yeah mans! this is exactly what we should be doing together. also, we should make it a rule that if you dont follow, your out! i think maybe we should write a few things out and bring 'em in to the meeting?

well i don't think we should put it quite like that, i mean if people have reasons and so on i think we should make exceptions, and i don't think things like this should be compulsory anyway, but that shouldn't be a problem as everyone should want to improve them selfs. but say for example Matti that i went on a kfc binging fit, would u be happy to kick me out the team? cause i thought u were really eager to keep everyone together, cause were not just a team of trickers and pk mans, were a group of good mates, so we should make exceptions if anything comes up instead of just saying there out of the team. but i do no where your coming from with this and its a good point that everyone should be doing this, but if we start forcing it, its going to start becoming less of what pk and tricking is all about and more like a chore.

grr shup adam, did you not notice my sarcasm? and i can understand if theres things that prevent you like money or something (tis for me hehe) but a lil homework cant hurt can it? like 30 press ups a week, or... 5 pieces of fruit a week (even though it should be a day lol) just something like that.

Dont worry about it man, if your doing them everyday or quite often your not giveing your muscles time to repair themselfs after ripping (witch is what happens when u do press ups) but i bet if u gave it a week rest u would be able to do more than u could before, and it depends on your mood and things at the time. like when i rested for a while and was in the best mood i managed 75 in one go, but if i tryed now i would be extremly lucky to get to 50, but as for your spalin i dont no what to suggest lol
